Gecko, Victoria University's Environmental group takes up environmental issues both on and off campus. Working towards Victoria becoming a sustainable/zero waste campus has been a major focus in the last year.
Gecko is also widely involved with environmental issues and campaigns that affect New Zealand and the world. We do this by encouraging students to take an interest in environmental issues and how each of us can make a difference, whilst having lots of fun!
